PLN completed a ACCC Conductor upgrade in Indonesia: quad-bundled 500 kV Suralaya – Balaraja ACCC conductor transmission line in West Java near Jakarta. ACCC installation supervision was provided by PT PLN-E, PT. PLN JTBB, PT KMI Wire & Cable Tbk

Following the success of the first 500 kV Suralaya-Balaraja ACCC conductor installation, PLN has started their second 500kV ACCC reconductor project known as the Balaraja – Lengkong – Gandul line in West Jakarta. PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk provided nearly 600 kilometers of ACCC® conductor quad

The first circuit of the Balaraja – Lengkong – Gandul line in West Jakarta was successfully completed and energized late last month. PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk provided nearly 600 kilometers of ACCC® conductor for the quad bundled 49 km reconductor project

Earlier this month, National Grid Corporation (NGC) Vietnam completed their 110 kV Viet Tri – Bai Bang line upgrade (ACCC Conductor Upgrade) to increase line capacity. NGC’s ACCC Reconductor project was supported with the help of EPC firms Truong Son and TIC. The ACCC Conductor was supplied by CTC Global’s manufacturing partner PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk and ACCC Hardware was provided by PLP Belos

With the support of contractors KSO PT Sangkan Jaya and PT Prima Estika, PLN (Persero) TJBB completed and energized their 500 kV quad bundled Suralaya to Balaraja transmission line on December 30, 2019. Support for the installation was also provided by PLN, PLN Engineering, PT KMI Wire and Cable Tbk, and CTC Global’s Licensed Service Provider PT Dinamika Elektra Mandiri
